Checking music beneath spoken narration

Mensaje por LucasDord »

I am editing a short podcast introduction with music underneath the first sentence. Listening to the cue separately does not tell me enough about the spoken transition. I want to avoid confusing a mixing problem with an export problem. A useful comparison seems to require a fixed narration track and matched music levels. I would also retain the original cue so every change remains reversible. The narrator has a soft delivery, and the cue includes a sustained background layer. I would listen to the opening both on headphones and on a small speaker, noting whether individual words remain easy to follow at a comfortable volume. I came across suno fix while looking for possible approaches to this question. I have no comparison from this cue yet, so I cannot describe a result. Reducing a distraction would matter less if the musical entrance lost its shape. Which listening checks would you use to assess the overlap fairly?
